Review of Czech film published in Scottish newspaper
http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dfkdxc5p_4166tvn6g5
Above is a review of a Czech film, now on DVD, called Closely Observed Trains (1966), published in today's Sunday Herald. Unfortunately, the review hasn't made it to the online version of the newspaper so I've typed it out so you can have a read. I'd be interested to hear if anyone from Czech Republic has seen the film and what you think about the review and the author's opinion of the Czech film industry.

N.B. The title of the review "Trainspotting behind the Iron Curtain" is probably intended to have a double meaning, referring to the cult Scottish film "Trainspotting" adapted from Irvine Welsh's novel of the same name.
